Winnie the pooh by A. A. Milne August 21, 1921

Winnie-the-Pooh (also known as Edward Bear, Pooh Bear or simply Pooh) is a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne and English illustrator E. H. Shepard. Winnie-the-Pooh first appeared by name in a children\'s story commissioned by London\'s Evening News for Christmas Eve 1925. The character is inspired by a stuffed toy that Milne had bought for his son Christopher Robin in Harrods department store, and a bear they had viewed at London Zoo.

Pippi Longstocking (Swedish: Pippi Långstrump) is the fictional main character in a series of children\'s books by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Pippi was named by Lindgren\'s daughter Karin, who asked her mother for a get-well story when she was off school.

The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss March 12, 1957

The Cat in the Hat is a 1957 children\'s book written and illustrated by American author Theodor Geisel, using the pen name Dr. Seuss. The story centers on a tall anthropomorphic cat who wears a red and white-striped top hat and a red bow tie. The Cat shows up at the house of Sally and her brother one rainy day when their mother is away. Despite the repeated objections of the children\'s fish, the Cat shows the children a few of his tricks in an attempt to entertain them. In the process, he and his companions, Thing One and Thing Two, wreck the house. As the children and the fish become more alarmed, the Cat produces a machine that he uses to clean everything up and disappears just before the children\'s mother comes home.

Alice\'s Adventures in Wonderland (also known as Alice in Wonderland) is an 1865 English children\'s novel by Lewis Carroll, a mathematics don at the University of Oxford. It details the story of a girl named Alice who falls through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world of anthropomorphic creatures. It is seen as an example of the literary nonsense genre. The artist John Tenniel provided 42 wood-engraved illustrations for the book.
